Sales figures

I know this is utterly trivial, but it still interests me: Does anyone know something about the lastest sales figures of Roxette recordings?
Cheers!

more than 1.500.000 copies. I think it’s really good number in those times.

In the “The Look For Roxette” says that RS sold 2.000.000, a good number if we think that for example American life (Madonna album), sold 5 millions, with a lot of promotion(RS, don´t had a great promotion), included USA

...and the “Britney” album by britney spears of course sold only 3,5 mln copies with high promotion everywhere.

I wanted to know all the sales figures for Roxette if that’d be possible... cause I know none!
Thanx in advance.
P.S.: Britney’s album “Britney” sold 11 million world-wide and 3,5 million in the US alone.

If what mf2004 said is right, then for RS to sell that many is great, considering the lack of promo in Aus/NZ and no release in the USA.

Now, Roxservice tells us HAND has sold around 3.5 million copies. Actually, I slightly doubt these figures. CBB ’only’ sold around 4 or 5 million records, and it was really a hit record in Europe, Latin America and South Africa, whereas HAND was much less successful, wasn’t it. Also the booklet in ’Ballad Hits’ says HAND has sold about two million. That seems to be a bit more realistic, given there was no tour and ’Anyone’ and ’Salvation’ were major flops.

hand was a hit in europe though that was my impression anyway !

In the Son of a plumber’s intromovie can be read that Roxette has sold 70 million albums so far.
I always try to make the fans understand that Roxette’s albums keep on selling and people buy them. It’s not that people do not buy HAND or Room Service because they’re from previous years, old albums keep on selling. So I think that’s the reason why HAND’s figures have increased after some years...
Some fans say, how come that Roxette has sold 70 million if Joyride has sold 10 million, CBB 5 million, etc, etc, but what they do not see is that those albums have sold that in those years..., nowadays the figures are higher and it’s because people still buy them...

@ above
Think it’s 70 m “records”, meaning that the figure also includes the singles (some 20 m).

Obviously, records keep on selling. But not that much, I think. And nowadays you often can’t even find any Roxette recordings in the stores (except for Joyride and CBB perhaps, but it’s really long ago that I saw HAND anywhere in a record store).
