WANTED - Marie's Art Catalog

Hi

Anybody going to the Marie’s art exhibition, can you please let me know. I really want to get a copy of this catalog.

Thanks!
G

I have it.........................

Do you mean you’ve got a spare copy that you want to sell?

Good Luck, there is one on the UK eBay!

Yes, people has started making money... As usual

Thats what ebay is for....making money.

@room service: There’s no point whining that people are making money. Just don’t buy it if you think it is so wrong. But also think of it the next time you go to the super market buying food. Someone is making money on everything you buy!

Good point, per-mson.
I totally agree with you.

@per mson: When I go to the supermarket, I pay reasonable prices for the goods I get. This is different, because most of the “rare” stuff price is usually inflated. Sellers know someone will get it anyway. I know this catalogue was originally sold for 40 euros at the exhibition. But be sure some people will sell it for no less than the double. That’s abussive, and sadly it’s a normal behavior among “rare” stuff sellers. Some people are always ready to make good “business”.

@room service: I can agree with you that some sellers are a bit too greedy now and then, but it also have to do with how much people want stuff. If a seller put up an object on an auction site and offer the thing for what it costed him/her originally and then people are bidding and bidding. Who’s fault is it then? The seller or buyer?
As an example of this I can tell you that I recently saw a Swedish Dangerous CD-Maxi being sold for 130 Euros on an auction in Germany. The seller had a start price of 1 Euro! Who is crazy there? The buyer I would say.

Best to buy and sell later, when people know it’s not longer availible to buy!

@room service: surely its only abusive that someone is selling it double possibly cos you want one?

i’d like one but i’m prepared to accept the fact that i most likely will never get one cos i won’t be paying more than i want to for it.

to say that someone is greedy....when most of the books ive seen on ebay starts at face value is strange, after all its not the sellers fault that someone wants to pay double or more of what something was orginaly worth.

at the end of the day its a few charcoal drawings, if marie wanted it to be released to the entire world then the FC would have had some to sell.

sometimes it’s better to just wait, and don’t panic..

@jud: That is usually the best advice one can give people! :) Not many understand that though.. :-/

and here you’ll find the reason why I said the sentence above..
