I think comercially speaking is a good move, because like it or not releasing the same week as Madonna is not the ideal. Per has all that is needed to beat her but first weeks’ sales are really important. Not saying that this is the reason for the delay.

I don’t think Son of a Plumber’s success would be anywhere near that of Mazarin’s. It’s in English, anyways...And Per’s hiding behind another name doesn’t help it either.
However, I am sure the album is going to be brilliant!

OK. Sittin’ and thinkin’: the news exists, right? It’s there, in tdr precious computers for quite a while. It’s not even about filling some holes with some more info...It’s all there, waiting for the green-light. But why then is so important for that news to reach the mass in a CERTAIN day? Unless the news is about revealing a release-day for the single...And Capitol/Emi/Per/his management or somebody else is not yet sure if it can be made in time. So we’re probably waiting right now for a final discussion at the highest level concerning the very day in which the single HAS to be out; and all these because they probably don’t want to make fool of themselves once again with postponing the single just like they did with the album.
In my opinion, the news will be very short and it will only tell the precise day in which the single will be out. And of course, the title on the single hehe...
But that’s only my guessing while eating my sandwhich...
Does anyone have a better idea about why the “go” is so f... important since the news already exists?

As I understand, it’s lots of work to make a perfect time-schedule for something like this, so I understand why they are so precious about it....

like in all projects.. the timing, the time-line, this and that detail.. are carefully picked and organised. Else it ends up in a chaos. It’s not just like “Ok I release an album soon” - there’s lots of talking behind it. Meetings + meetings.

What i thought was that the forum being down meant that people were working for the real opening, not that the forum was down for good. It was just the opposite. Nevermind.

Per Gessles new project ’Son Of A Plumber’ is a debut in more ways than one - since it will be Pers first double album.
“Yes, it happened naturally” says Per, ”not so much depending on the playing time, more to get the vinyl-album feeling. You had to flip them over now you have to switch CDs....”
It logically follows that the first single from ’Son of a Plumber’ also will be a double a double A-side featuring the tracks “C’mon” and “Jo-Anna Says”. It is distributed to radio stations on November 7th and will be available in stores on November 9th.
The double-CD ’Son of a Plumber’ will be in stores on November 23rd.
