If it is framed or not shouldn’t do any difference, should it?! I mean a frame for such a poster you can buy at IKEA for 5-6 Euros!
But as I told you in a mail, Ted, you shouldn’t pay more than 150 SEK for it!

I wouldn´t pay 1200SEK for a poster ,that are 133€ too much!
Even it is very old!

You know Ted I was joking with you... it would be a nice poster...

Obsessed persons are common in this forum board. 1200 SEK for a piece of paper, just because Per’s shape is printed in? I would spend that money in something better... and more enjoyable.

Yeah but you have to remember, some people see it as an investment..... another 20 years down the line and it would be worth a lot more!

A PG poster will never be worth 1200 SEK no matter how old it gets! Do you really think so, ally!? I think rather that stuff will get less worth with time (unfortunately for my collection).

@Ally: it’s a piece of paper, with a photo printed on it. It’s not a Van Gogh or a copy of Gutemberg’s Bible. A poster is a poster, it doesn’t matter how old it is, it won’t be sold in auction at Christie’s!!!

I call my Billy and Strul posters an investment... they’re almost 30 years old and historic... getting harder to find them... but all of my other posters are very expendable. In fact, I may be selling or trading some of them soon - I have way too many poster tubes laying around.
But I like to change my art every 6 months to keep the walls fresh, so it’s nice to have some extra posters around.

I said it was a nice poster or would be, but I did not say I would spend so much on it....

Posters just a piece of paper, not worth anything??

Posters not sold at Christie´s?? (sorry for the long link...)
http://www.christies.com/LotFinder/search/Lotsummary.asp?sid=&SN=5678&in...
Well, these links don’t mention posters by Per Gessle or Roxette, but this might give some people a clue that original music memorabilia normally is very appreciated in the world of music collecting... However, concert posters are somewhat more demanded than album promotional posters and is bringing higher prices. SEK 1200.00 seems to be a little bit too much for it Ted! But, it’s your own choice of course ;-).

Nice Links..... I sold a lot of my mum’s 60’s posters from some Disney films staring Haley Mills only a couple of weeks ago to an American collecter..... My mum collected them from her local UK cinema’s and just kept them in mint condition, I sold the lot (6) for £800 recently....

Sure thing that posters can be worth something to some people. Saying that a poster is just a piece of paper with a photo printed on it is of course true, but then a CD is only some plastic with some pieces of printed paper as well.
I do, however, not think that one can compare Gessle with The Beatles, hehehe... It is not really in the same division, cause I guess Roxette’s total of 40 Million albums is something Beatles sold in no time... ;)
