yes, it will be in the cinemas here late September - I already saw the film is dated 2004, which I found weird :S I thought nowadays all films are available all around the world at the same time to prevent piracy as much as possible :S

um never heard of it, who is in it ?

I hope that where you wrote “actors” you actually wanted to say “characters”... :O

Don’t waste your time on “Wedding Date” either. It’s the blandest chick-flick in history.... it doesn’t even contain enough stimulation to distract you, if only for a little bitty tiny brief while, from worries about nuclear vaporization.

I’m going to a surprise sneak preview tomorrow.. let’s see what they show :O

@santi: Well, I meant actually both actors and characters... cause I didn’t like the looks on any of the people either to be honest and I can’t say I liked their way of acting so very much either... but if the film would’ve been good I think that could be overseen. ;-))

the isalnd is a rip off of another movie the company that made the movie is being sued and it might get pulled from theaters, must love dogs does rather suck
rox-kuryliw said on August 31, 2005 20:22:

Jud (moderator) said on August 31, 2005 22:08:
ok, the surprise film sneak preview was “Laws of attraction” with Pierce Brosnan and Julianne Moore. It was nice! Laughed a lot, and as I love the British/Irish accent, it was just perfect :D
Santi said on September 1, 2005 00:12:
@Per: Ok, thanks for clearing that up, but don’t be too superficial either :P
MiracleMan said on September 1, 2005 03:35:
Judith: Laws of Attraction was a sneak preview? That was released over a year ago in the US. Is it just now opeing there?
And yes, “The Island” is being sued by the makers of a crappy movie from the laste seventies—Clonus something or other. It was so bad they made merciless fun of it on an episode of Mystery Science Theatre 3000 when it was on the SciFi Channel yeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaars ago. As I remember the plot is rather similar. There was a comparison of the plot points and details in Entertainment Weekly around the time “The Island” opened.

I just wanted to warn people from going to the cinema to see “Must Love Dogs”. I looked at (most of it) yesterday and that was one of the most boring films I have seen this year. It was actually the first film ever I left the cinema before the film was even over!
The film is supposed to be a romantic comedy and all you people (like me) who are fond of films like Pretty Woman, Notting Hill and so on know what a romantic comedy is. They are supposed to be funny and also a bit cute! This one had nothing of that. The actors were all boring and there was not a single one of them I liked. There is more or less no story and the lack of humour makes the film a complete flop in my eyes! :)
