Did Texas support Roxette at Wembley Arena?

This has been bugging me for years!
Almost 20 years ago I saw Roxette at Wembley Arena (travelled all the way down from “Up North” which at the time was Crewe, Cheshire, UK) and saw an awesome performance from Per and Marie.
There was also a support group before Roxette came on which I think was an unkown (at the time) band called Texas.
Can anyone cofirm whether Texas ever supported Roxette at Wembley Arena? And if so what year?
Thanks!

Ok, thanks. :)
So does anyone know who DID support Roxette when they played Wembley Arena around 20 years ago? [I’m sure it was an unknown band that later became quite famous.]
Someone somewhere must have this info but having searched the web for hours, I can’t find the info I’m looking for.
Any help appreciated!

Roxette never played at Wembley 20 years ago, 1985! If you mean 1991, I don’t know who supported them.

Yep, I can’t remember exactly when it was hence I said “almost/around 20 years ago”.
Come on, give me a break, I am an old man now, well late 30s anyway - I feel old! :)
SOMEONE must have a better memory than me and remember who supported Roxette back then?

errm I didnt saw them on the joyride tour but I guess it was Glass Tiger ?? tev?

It was definitely Glass Tiger in Edinburgh in 1991....i assume they also supported them at the London Show.
In July 2002 (summer joyride) in Glasgow it was Clouseau and in Nov 1994 in Edinburgh, Sheffield and Birmingham it was Brainpool. I never attended any of the London shows, but i think it is unlikely that they had a different support act just for the London show when they had the same support act for the rest of the tour.

” july 17th 1992 @ sheffield glass tiger supported roxette”
Thats wrong. Glass tiger supported them on the original Joyride dates in November, 1991. July 17th 1992 was the summer joyride dates, where Clouseau supported them

What band supported them at Crash Boom Bang 94 in Germany? Also Brainpool? I cannot remember. Room Service was supported by bell book and candle in germany it was great!
Does Clousea also sings in English? I just heared them singing dutch: who could forget songs like Daar gaat ze
By the way whats the name of the original song in english?
LaMan said on August 19, 2005 09:17:
Clouseau sang something in English in the early 90s yes. 1 album I suppose.
That was in 1991 or 1992.

Clouseau had two albums in English. The first one is called “Close Encounters” (1991) and their second one “In Every Small Town (1992).
In 1999 they also released a Crowded House cover on a two track single. “Wheather With You” it was.
They’re still veeeery popular in Belgium with their albums in dutch. You should really check them out.

RoXoR, I assume it was Brainpool who supported them on the Germany dates in 1994 aswell. It certainly was for all the UK dates.
