This is Steven Page’s (lead singer of Barenaked Ladies) solo project. I was completely taken by surprise by the single, “Wilted Rose” which is incredibly Gessle-ish. “Hit and Run” could also have been from “Mazarin”... I’m not usually a BNL fan, although I think they’ve done a few really good songs (“Falling for the First Time” and “Pinch Me,” for example... so this is a bit of a surprise to me!
