new website for film, Have to say look at the trailer , its looks frigging fantastic. cant wait.

I can’t wait... :)

im sure i read somewhere thats is gonna be one of the most expensive movies ever cos of all the effects needed.
i was thinking how the hell there gonna do the world cup at the begining lol.

cant wait that either :)

I want to see Cho Chang :D

I saw a trailer at the cinema last weekend! looks good!

Not really a big fan of Master Potter. Fell asleep during the first one, and never bothered to see the others.

never mind everyone cant like the same things! i love this little piece escapism heaven myself, new film is having to have rating 12 aswell !

what did you think from seeing the trailer in the link above paul?

Must admit the trailer does look quite cool. Might have to drag myself to the cinema to watch it

haven’t seen the first 3 (or was it 2?) not gonna bust a gut going to this one either ;)

I’m looking forward to this one because I actually read the whole series while I was in Sweden (they were the only English books they had in the library) so it’s the first time I’m going to see one of the movies after reading it first.

how come Vixzter youre not going to see this one either ? dont you think it looks good from the trailer ?!

haven’t seen the trailer so wouldn’t know, when you have a mum and brother who go on and on and on and on and on and on and on about harry potter you tend to be a little bored of it ;)

when i think of all the bastardization that is gonna be done to alot of classic book series thanks to harry potter it makes me kinda ill but it is nice to know that people still read......i’m much more excited about the upcoming voltron and transfoprmers movies

i think alot of films adapted from book have done well in the pass. matilda is a fave adaptation of mine into a film, miss trunchbull in it was perfect , and charlie and choc fac is great aswell. Looking foward to the ’The Chronicles of Narnia’, fave from when i was little. Whats voltron :-S

Saw the first filmed and liked it. Saw the second and thought “haven’t I already seen this film before” and almost fell asleep. Didn’t see the third one and will not see this either. :)

see i thought third was best so far , totally different feel to the first 2 alot dark, plus them Dominators scare the sh*t out of me ye lol really send shivers down my back i think death looks like that,.
i did think 1st was to similar to the 2nd also, but the second book is weakest of all books so far aswell.

how can you not knwo what voltron is its the biggest cartoon of the 80’s 5 mechanical lions with powrs of natural elements for the centurion voltron sheesh

im english you see, and i asked my brother about it aswell, he couldnt remember it, dont think it was big in england cos we watched most of them when we were a kids, thats if it was on uk TV i remember all the others though lol

I’ve seen a better tralier for this now... It looks fab, does anyone know the release date yet....

NOV 18th, saw the new trailer today WOW even better than i thought :-DDD

Hey I’d never thought i’d say this but I’m actually excited about this movie... never bothered when the first two came out... however was forced by pure boredom to what them on satelite... rented the third on DVD when it came out and WANT to see this one on the big screen... still wonders what it was what Rowling were tripping on when she wrote those books! Still i wouldn’t say I’m a fanatic but it’s very entertaining and thought-provoking - Love the richness of the metaphors!!

November 18th, ermmmm I think I’ll see it in Sweden then! :) nice cinema not far from the hotel! That is my first night sorted out in Stockholm!

Does anyone know if this movie will come at the imax theatre?

I don’t know Madjy sorry....

I’ve been watching the old films this week getting ready for the new one!

it’s only 15 days before the premiere :)

*counting the days*

Majdy: From what I understand, yes, it will be in select IMAX theatres.

My mother thinks Harry Potter’s evil. She thinks that it’s a recruiting tool for Pagans.

Well... *rocks back and forth between heels and balls of feet*... I was Pagan BEFORE I saw anything related to Harry Potter (other than people carrying the books).

o_O

yeah, many people thinks like that too in my country... but who cares? potter rocks!!! :)

what u guys think about Katie Leung (cho chang) haters? poor girl, she’s juts onlyin one movie yet, but already has so many people hates her.

There was a TV interview on last night with the guy who plays Harry, he was so funny!

I got a ticket for this Thursday, advanced screening!

LS: is your mum a fan of the current pope? :P

its a 12 A in UK, and it had to take sences out to get to that ! !

God knows how they are going to cut the later ones !

I got a ticket for Thursday! advance screening at my local Cinema! :) wooohooo :)

Jealous! I want to see an advanced screening too. Take me with you, Ally.

it’s only 11 days, people!!

I am looking forward for that movie!!!!

Awww MM you can come!

Did I mention it was excellent! :) I have to see it again... I am not gonna spoil it for you, but if you are a HP film fan you’ll love it!

i saw it today, bloody fantastic :-D off to see it again next week.

you did??? is that better than Prizoner Azkaban? (my fav from the first three).

I will wacth that on Friday night or saturday noon. Hopefully on Imax theatre.

I think best one yet , great fun has everything in. Im gonna go see it at imax when its released there aswell, order of the phonix is gonna be fantastic :-D

it won’t be at imax at san diego :P oh, well, the regular theatre will be fine too.

our i max will get it but not until after christmas now like last year i guess. i guess im looking to live near one, they isnt many in UK.

it’s only 6 hours before I see Harry Potter!!!! yay!!!

I went again this afternoon to see it! :) so good even better second time round!

and how fit is Ron! :) that red hair.... :)

Saw it tonight!

Gotta admit though that I have not been an HP fan, really. I saw the last one, and after only that some half an hour of the first one!

Anyway, I loved Prisoner of Azkaban, this one’s loses a little to it. Goblet is great fun though, lasted those 2 hours and 45 minutes without a thought about going to the bathroom :P

Malfoy wasn’t around that much, though. Should I say boo? :P

Jude: No, I don’t think my mom’s a fan of the current Pope... she’s just disturbing in my opinion.

Saw the movie this morning and I thought it was absolutely fantastic :o)

I think I’m in the minority, but I wasn’t overly impressed with the latest one. I know the book is mega-long and they tried to put as much as they could into it, but it doesn’t work. No explanation why yer blokie was cursed in the maze, etc, etc. Everything seemed rushed and not explained enough and some superfluous scenes.

I also thought the acting by the 3 lead kids wasn’t up to par. Ron did have his funny moments but Hermione seemed distressed all the time and was just over-acted, and Daniel Radcliffe just didn’t seem to be ’in character’ as much. Perhaps my expectations were too much, as I love the 3 movies to date and have the DVDs, or mayb I’m more excited about King Kong (the newest trailer is unbelievable) and the Chronicles of Narnia .... I dunno. I will go see it again.

I don’t want to put anyone off seeing the movie.....and not being negative to provole a reaction.....just my feeling about the movie:-))))

For the record tho: Miranda Richardson was SUPERB!

Yeah I would have liked to have seen more of Malfoy

It’s kinda hard to fit a book that’s about the size of War and Peace into a movie that’s under 3 hours, yeah. And that’s the unfortunates of today’s society. People can’t sit still for very long. They want movies that are between 1.75 hours and 2.5 hours. Anything longer than that, they lose interest in very quickly.

I know, I sat through Schindler’s List (3 hours) and The Thin Red Line (3 hours), although there was an hour out of that second movie that they could have edited out and it wouldn’t have hurt the movie at all. While I enjoyed the movies, the seats weren’t all that comfortable.

I haven’t read any of the books, don’t intend to start at the moment because I’m the type of person that loses ALL track of time when I read, so I don’t do that :o)

war and peace is a good book!

just saw it on weekend!

I have to say it gets better and better (it get sexier too, so it’s no longer for kids!!!) the special effects was brilliant. The quidditch world cup was ssssssssooooo great!! I must say the introduction of the quidditch team was awesome and it was my fav scene.

I just wished that Ron and Hermione was having more part in the movie (just like in the book). But it must be hard to put all things in the book to the movie.

but anyway, this movie still so fantastic!!! *two thumbs up*

So when is the next one out!

maybe early 2007?

Ally: Never said it wasn’t. It’s just

I’ve seen it four times now including once at the IMAX and it just keeps getting better! :o)

iv seen it twice, just waiting for it to go to imax near me :-D, Still think the bit at the end is just SO sad :-((

goblet of fire was wicked!! it’s my favorite(part one is a close second). you can definitely tell the difference in director’s. i’m with you ally77......when’s the next one out!!!!!

cheers,
tammie

I’m still waiting for the movie. Sometime in December...

I have to say I like all the movies but the books are much much better in my opinion. Too bad they can’t make such a long movie with all the scenes from the books... I was so down when I heard that there will be only one more book...

yes denny is a shame they missed some stuff out of this one like the house elves protection ect ect . but it would be over 3 hours then! and its just not possible to do. I think did a great film based on the book for the epic the book is.

Order of the phonix out 2007 (being shot early next year)
mudblood prince out 2008

(both estimates from film sites)

Yeah but I would watch no matter how long they are. I would just bring a pillow to the theatre, and loads of food, hehe.

Nice dates, it won’t be so long...

just saw that for second time, and it got better and better!

i cant wait to see it at the imax if it comes :-D

I see chamber of secrets is on ITV 1 this weekend.... I’ll have to tape it as I’ll be in Sweden!

i would of saved that film for christmas day personally if i was ITV 1 , silly pricks lol

Just saw the movie and I liked it. :) Hermione (actually the actress) is much more prettier in this part. Harry is not so cute anymore :) The film is nicely done, I like the effects, especially with the boat and in the lake... I imagined Cho Chang diferently.... Aaaand, hm, what else... I like Snape! Always did! :)) Dunno why though...

I like Snape too :) I hope he will get more part in the Order of Phoenix movie :)

Daniel Radcliffe mistaken for Frodo

November 29, 2005

Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe is mistakenly being mobbed by fans
of
Elijah Wood.

Lord of the Rings fans in Australia - where Radcliffe is filming his
latest movie - have mistaken 16-year-old Daniel for Elijah, 24, - who
plays Frodo in the hit fantasy trilogy.

But far from being offended by the mistake, Daniel admits he is
flattered.

He is quoted in Britain’s The Sun newspaper as saying: “So often people
shout out, ’Hey Frodo!’ as they think I’m Elija - who frankly is a very
good-looking guy so I take it as a compliment.

“I admit when a couple of people have put autograph books under my nose
I’ve signed them, ’Much love, Elijah Wood’.

“It would be a bit deflating for me if I told the truth and they said,
’Don’t bother signing it then’.”

Meanwhile, Daniel has become Britain’s richest teenager with a personal
fortune of £23-million (about R255-million).

The boy wizard is now worth more than millionaire teen stars Charlotte
Church and Joss Stone after signing a contract worth £8-million to
appear in the fifth movie, Harry Potter And The Order Of The Phoenix.
