Roxette was a Jeopardy question?

Hi all, I did a search for Roxette on Google’s beta Video search, and I found this:
http://video.google.com/ThumbnailServer?chan=KGO&year=2005&month=3&day=4...
(sorry for the long URL moderators!)
Isn’t it nifty?

Probably that was a tough guestion :)
BTW why do you have to appologize to mods for a long URL *blinks*

There is actually a mistake there...
4 of this groups FIRST Top-40 hits reached no.1...
As far as I know
The Look, Dressed For Success, Listen To Your Heart and Dangerous were the first Top-40 hits for Roxette (in the US) and only 2 went no. 1. ;)
Roxette-atic said on May 15, 2005 11:34:
Well, it doesent say that THE first 4 went to #1, it saids that 4 of the first singles went to #1..
animalkingdom said on May 15, 2005 12:37:
Ok, so how long is the list of Roxette’s “first” singles then?
There clearly is an error if you ask me...

Roxette hit #1 in the US with The Look, Listen to Your Heart, It Must Have Been Love, and Joyride. The singles that didn’t make number one, but cracked the Top 40 were Dressed For Success, Dangerous, and Fading Like A Flower. As far as I can see, the Jeopardy answer was properly phrased...

@Mishar: I apologized because sometimes the long URLs make the formatting of the screen go all wonky, as most people’s monitors are 1024 x 768, or 800 x 600, and they would have to scroll sideways to read the text, which is a pain in the arse to do. :-)
To answer the question if the contestant got it right– it looks like they did, they got $1000 for it! Hoo, if the Roxette question was worth a thousand dollars, then it was probably one of the harder questions!
That’s my fantasy Jeopardy scenario– if I were on Jeopardy, and the Final Jeopardy category was “Famous Swedish Pop Groups”, you can be sure as hell I would bet all my money on it! :-)

@ Anarem
I still think there’s something wrong with the question... Also COYH & SMT made the US Top 40. ;)

i think i have watched that episode of jeopardy while my stay in Canada...
I’m not certain about it but there was question about roxette, that is probably it, but it might be another question...They didn’t know, no one pushed the button.

@animalkingdom
I thought COYH was not even released in the US? Thought it was a European Single only?
animalkingdom said on May 17, 2005 20:52:
@ eBay
Yeah it was released. The Big L, on the other hand, was not.
