Hej Moderators!
Is it possible to take a YABBse Forum?
I relly don´t like this version. Many people says that!
Look the Run to Roxette Forum!

We are working on a new version. And not to be rude or anything, but this is the best forum I’ve seen. No useless features at all. Plain and basic, while R2R is just... confusing. My opinion, that’s all.

@thomas; can only fully agree with ya! quite curious what the new forum will be like actually, as this I think this is the cleanest one around

I think the most important thing for a forum-changing is to see -WHO- is actually online at the moment!

I gotta agree with Thomas, whilst I like R2R I love TDR because it’s basic but yet fun to use... :)

I also prefer TDR, while smileys and avatars and being able to add pictures etc can be funny, they are server hogs, this forum is fast and simple and easy to use, no weird buttons or options. It takes ages to load a page at R2R for example, with all those graphics and options..
There might be new features in the new TDR version, but then I think it has to be done in conjuction with the server resources, I am sure we all agree that most resources should go for what the site is about: news ;)
On the other hand, it’s always risky to use a script such as phpBB or YABBse with all their security holes.. my favourite board is Invision Board, too bad the newer versions are only with a paid license (I think 60€ a year or 170€ life time)

Please keep the TDR like it is now, all these other forums are not as plain and easy (and that’s a compliment for TDR).

TDR is plain and easy! I like it. Though I still have a idea to get through the forum pages faster. I think it’s a bit annoying when you open a topic that has got ten (or even a hundred) pages and you have to click forwards and backwards yourself again and again. Maybe there is some help?

Uhm, R2R isn’t using YaBBSe and hasn’t been for quite some time, actually...
And besides, work on YaBBSe has stopped way over a year ago (or more?), so really I don’t know why anyone would or should use it for a new installation...
