MRSA / Hospitals

Perhaps one dedicated to the UK people....
Of course we all know this is appearing in the papers a lot, was wondering what you others in the UK thought of your local hospitals?
Example:
I have just driven with my dad an 80 mile round trip with my Dad to Liverpool Royal Hospital to see my Gran who is very sick, only did not get to see her as they would not let us in until visiting time - but that’s a different matter!
As for the hospital, well I read all about MRSA in the papers etc but I did not think it was true till I just witnessed the state of the toilets in that hospital they where filthy, dirty, no hot water, no soap, paper all over the floor and nothing to dry your hands on - looked like they had not been cleaned in about a week! Witnessed a dirty ward a couple of months back there and did not think too much about it! Personally the hospital in question is so old and groggy and is in need of a major overhaul (knock it down and start again)! and don’t get me started on trying to park the car...
How the hell Liverpool got voted Culture Capital for 2008 is beyond me, yeah there is a lot history nd nice places, but people wanna drive through parts of Kensington such an eye sore.....
As for the Hospital.... pure disgust! :-
I have spend many times at Manchester’s hospital and can always praise the staff and how clean it is, the difference between two towns is unreal... :(
Thumbs up for Manchester’s Royal Infirmary and also Salford’s Hope Hospital! also thumbs up for my local Royal Bolton Hospital in my town as well!
I intend to write to the health sec of the UK goverment now to voice my concerns, and also the chief ex of the Liverpool Hospital...
