Hi Folks!

O-: I have to inform you that we have a rebel in our midst: after 323 votes in this poll finally someone has had the audacity to vote for The Centre Of The Heart!! :-O

Looking For Jane was shown the door in round 8 with 20 votes. In second place, once again, was My World, My Love, My Life. So will the singles all assume a place in the top 3 or will Room Service’s dramatic album closer have the last laugh during some breakfast in bed? Don’t be apathetic: please help us decide right now!!

Anyway, TCOTH is for me the deserved winner... MATAH is a soo pretty ballad, beautiful, Marie sings wonderful... but TCOTH is a masterpiece by the standards of Room Service. The song is worked, soo worked, very hard... Marie vocals sound very great, sound of the song suits perfectly (Roxette tried to record a good version 2 two years!!!), it’s a really great “pop hit”... and the choice to be the first single was the best option. Clip is great too :D

Wow I never thought it would be this easy to decide which songs I want to vote for. I always thought RS would be a tough one. But, right now, I could easily vote for either MTH or RS.

I vote for: Real Sugar (good video - but it should have been made to Fool).

Funny, I think the verses of real sugar are fab, but the chorus really starts to grate after a while.

And although it is quite sure that My world, My Love, My Life seems to lose this time:
I want to give points to keep this song IN the contest (but is that allowed Rich-UK?).

Anyway, since it seems like the best song will be voted out in this round, i will give you my top 4 of the remaining songs (and which should be voted OUT as last ones):

1. My World, My Love, My life
2. Real Sugar
3. The Centre of The Heart
4. Milk and Toast and Honey.

If My World, My Love, My Life is indeed voted OUT, I won’t vote anymore in the next rounds, simply because the best song is the gone, and the winner of the contest will not be my winner, so voting does not have any point then.

No, splitting your vote between different songs is not allowed, so as it stands you have cast your vote for MATAH. You see, someone split their vote during an early round in the HAND poll, and some people didn’t like that and asked me whether it could be prevented in the future, so being an obedient fellow I duly agreed. Also, having more than 1 vote is not allowed because your opinion is no more important to this poll than the view of any other person.

Incidentally, my favourite songs on CBB and HAND were voted out before the final, but still I found it fun to continue voting. A purpose of the poll is to gauge a collection of views: not everybody’s favourite song can win. And for me, the order of the songs is just as interesting as knowing the winner, which is why I like to take part in each round, even if most of the fans here don’t happen to agree with my personal opinion on the best song.

I find it really interesting to find out if most people here prefer a different song to me. This is why I never understood the cheat in the Tourism poll. For me, I would much rather compare my list to a list made by some fans (the polls) than ensure that my favourite song wins.
