Has anyone actually read this book called “Ensamma Pojkarna”?
If so, is it any good and you recommend it, and for the people who can not speak Swedish, can you tell the plot?
(Hoping I’m not asking to infringe any copyright laws :s)

Marie is in the cover of the limited edition that contains the CD. But the edition that you can found today in books stores have another cover, it’s all white and says “Ensamma Pojkarna” in psycodelic colours.

I’ve read it and that’s about it. Since I’m not a native speaker of the Swedish language it was hard work and I only remember it being about a couple of boys in a band and their lives while touring. And to be honest, I can’t even remember the plot....

yeah i’ve read it, and i think it’s brilliant. i spent ages looking for it and finally found it in a second hand bookshop in sweden... i really don’t get why it’s so hard to find and why it never was translated into any other language. i’m not swedish either but it’s fairly easy to understand, i’ve had swedish for a bit over year and had no problems at all...

I borrowed it at my local library and there where at least three or four of it. Anyway, I thought it wasn´t really that exciting! Not totally crap, but way too long .. I lost the interest having read not even half the book. Thought it was mostly repeating similar happenings over and over agian .. also the language wasn´t the best. Wouldn´t recommend it, though I don´t regret having read it.

I’ll show some ignorance here: Was Marie on the cover of the limited edition because the CD contained songs she sang?
Santi said on March 9, 2005 06:44:
No, the CD has only songs by The Lonely Boys, who are Per Gessle, Micke Syd Andersson and MP Persson from Gyllene Tider and Nisse Hellberg and Thomas Holst from Wilmer X.

Then why was she on the cover? It seems only a tangential connection to LB.
I thought perhaps I En Tid Som Vår was on there for some reason, even though I had it in my head that it was used in a film.

is it really her? if it’s the cover i mean it’s this blurred one and you can’t really tell if it’s Marie or some other blonde short-haired girl ;).
and well yeah, maybe i’m just that enthusiastic about the book because i’m so proud i could read it in swedish.. it does get quite boring towards the end, but it’s still a great book if you like plots like that :)

Heard it’s crap, although Marie is on the cover.
