Survivor polls deleted?

Hey, just a quick question:
Why are different survivor poll rounds deleted? I mean what’s the point?
I was trying to look for a couple of rounds that I missed and couldn’t find them anymore. Umm... is there a special reason for this?
You cannot just archive those?

I have been archiving the old rounds when they were over, but not deleting them, so I cannot answer to the question.

Edit: rounds 7, 8 & 9 have just re-appeared!

rounds 7, 8 & 9 were definitely not visible to me yesterday and earlier today, and now they’re back... ;-)

I didn’t see the archived threads for at least one of the rounds either—I’d logged in Friday and then on Monday and missed a round and wanted to read “the wrap-up”. Most of the time they have been there, but at least once it wasn’t visible for me either.

They were hidden as at least I thought they were not important anymore. But if you want them we won’t hide them.

I know that the moderators aren’t online all the time, but my preference is for the old survivor poll threads to be archived soon after the results have been announced, so that they don’t find their way to the top again. Just my thoughts. All the best, Rich ;-)

I think there’s no need to save archived ALL the rounds, just the last one or two. We have to much of grey colour of the first page indeed.

Besides I tend to read them once they’ve been archived—especially threads I’ve not really bothered with. Some of the funnist stuff sometimes in the forums.

On a similar topic, I would like to add that I liked it this time how the latest round remained archived for a day before it was deleted. In previous polls the latest round was often removed quickly, so the voting information was not always available.
