Ballad hits VRS DBUGTTC - Roxette's greatest Hits

My sister asked me for a Roxette CD, I gave her the Ballad and she asked for DBUGTTC.
I kinda agree as DBUGTTC has a mixture of the better songs I think - since Almost Unreal and Sleeping in my car are my favs.
What do others think?

Breathe and A Thing About You, one of the best songs Roxette has done recently.

I do agree but sadly they’re miles away from the success of IMHBL or SMT

All the songs on The Ballad Hits are equally fantastic. Maybe the weakest is “Vulnerable”. All the ballads, old or new, are awesome, however!

I think the greatest hits are great *g*!!
They are better than the ballad hits but they are cool too!!
I can only 1 time listen to the ballad hits because I feel not good after but to the greatest hits I can listen again and again!!!

The Ballad Hits contains the finest songs Roxette has ever done...

Or you can make her a compilation of all the Roxette singles, cause some hits aren’t included on any compilation album.
My all time favorite hitsingle “fireworks” for example, I still think it’s such a shame.

I think, for example, I like IMBL or “A thing about you” and, for me, the success is not the important thing to consider. Obviously, ATAY is miles away of IMBL if you talk about success but ATAY, for me, it’s one of the best songs Roxette had done :)

Don’t Bore Us is better! It contains a mix of uptempo and ballads + very cool new (for that time) tracks.
Ballads are not bad at all, ATAY & Breathe are great... but there’s no such variety.

to be fair if someone wanted an intro to Rox then Dont Bore Us....is the way to start. Every Per writing ’highlight’ ends up a hit and they are all there, save a few.
If that inspires them, give them joyride after that. Its the most ’roxette’ roxette album. That makes no sense but you know what I mean. Then take it from there. Probably CBB then Look sharp then tourism - cos its the ’band’ album. Then I guess you could give them RS and HAND. i thought the ballad and POP hits were a real gimmick at the time. Not cool at all. But understandable in the circumstances, oam.

DBU includes all the hits into 1 cd... TBH doesn’t include the uptempo hits
