Okay I was wondering if anyone can clear up this weird rumour about Rox I heard several years ago....the story went that sometime around the Joyride era, they were recording a video and Per broke his guitar pick. Marie was wearing something with sequins on it (so it must have been the Big L clip I’m guessing) and Per decided to pull off a sequin to use as a pick...but when he pulled it he ripped the whole top off and Marie ran away half naked and in tears! This story was actually told on the radio and I always wondered if it was true! Has anyone else ever heard this story? Since Per supposedly visits here maybe he can tell us!

But the gesture in itself is very much Per-like. So I guess it’s just a made-to-look-real-story. Or maybe they didn’t even realize that Per is one of those cruel jockers. haha
But then again, the end is totally spoiled by saying that Marie ran away in tears. She wouldn’t do that! LOL
Anyway, it’s just a stupid story. 99,9999% fake.

Anyway, you can see that Per isn’t anywhere near for the filming of DYGE cos if he was they would have presumably put him on the set at some stage.
He only appears in concert footage, the same with Marie in COYH... Quite possibly because they were filmed at around the same time, I don’t know.

Well it seems nobody else ever heard the story so it must be a total fake! What a bizarre story to invent, it must have been quiet at that radio station that day. I thought there might be some truth in it, that maybe Per did rip her costume but only a small part or something, but it seems that this station was the only one that ever reported it!

The story is funny but I think it’s either Per’s joke or just fake. The DYGE video, well, I’ve seen it for the first time just recently and I was surprised, maybe even shocked by it. I didn’t expect that Marie would do something like that. I was wondering how many people were there while it was made cause she is definitely naked in it. By the way she is gorgeous , so sexy and it doesn’t look cheap at all.

Sparvogamarie, this story was on Finnish magazine Suosikki on Joyride era. Marie wasn’t half naked, there was just a litte hole in his shirt, nothing more. Per told on the magazine, that Marie looked him like she wanted to kill Per :) The concert was in Argentina, if I remember rigtht.
And c’mon, of course Per has seen Marie naked and Marie has seen Per naked. They have know eachothers over 20 years. It almost impossible not seen someone naked on such time. It’s not so big deal.

well i have been backstage with other artists and have seen half naked bodies then - and I was just an two-time guest so I assume when you “live together” for months (tour) .. you simply don’t care anymore to change your shirt in front of eachother... Aha, thanks Mari!!! So it was a true story that just got exaggerated. I’ve always wondered how much truth there was in it, now I know!
P.S. At one of the RS concerts there was a curtain that wasn’t completely closed, and Per was changing behind it. Some of my friends saw him and screamed “Per’s naked ass!!!!!!!”

LOL AnnaG. That’s true, Marie wore normal underwear on the Äntligen tour and you could totally see her panty line under her tight pants (not that I was looking). On the RS tour she wore a string, I know this because she bent over to sign an autograph on the floor, and my 2 friends could see the string sticking out the back of her jeans. She was wearing the brand Anti Flirt if anyone is interested ;) (I have strange friends...)
