I think it’s pretty obvious that Marie is not ready to work with Roxette yet, ok she made a solo album but she recorded it mostly in her home and didn’t do any promo. I think we will be waiting a looooooooong time for Roxette....but isn’t it better that they do solo/GT stuff than make us wait 5 years with nothing until Rox are back?! Why complain when in the last year Roxfans got the new GT stuff, Marie album and now a Per album coming up!

Of course we all want in the first place a new Roxette-album, but my guess is that a new Rox-album will come out in 2006.
To overcome the time inbetween Per also releases a solo-album, so see it as a bonus.

well Per said on the Gyllene Tider documentary on the Swedish TV4 that he liked doing perosnal albums like Mazarin and that was what he would like to be doing in the future.
I loved both The Wordl according.... and Mazarin so I don not care if it become a TWATG 2 or a mazarin 2. But I must say that a new Roxette album would be the best.

When I listen to Look Sharp and sometimes CBB and HAND, I can hear some kind of innovation in the sound the music and the way they did it just like trying to find a new way... When i listen to Room Service, joyride, pearls of passion it doesn’t happen (ithey are good albums instead).
What i’m triyng to say is that Mazarin is, in my opinion, the way i like per to go, there’s a lot of motivation there, you can see that they were looking for brand new sounds, new things... still today when i put the cd in the car stereo i think that there’s things we never listen.... power ballads like ticker om... disco sound like spegelbol, steel guitars like in gungar and om du bara vill... grape like in fodelsedag.... music composition at its best like Mazarin track.
I love TWATG still today too and its sound.... but I think that the work He did with christofer and MAts and clearence and Helena in mazarin is the best i ever heard.

As Per has expressed his desire to be removed from the spotlight in Sweden for a while, I think that an album in English would make sense. Also, if it receives acclaim and airplay across Europe it would be the perfect prelude to the next Roxette album, and if Marie is not up for that then he can always make another Swedish album or get involved with a different collaboration in 2006.
