A Christmas Present From Roxette

thats would be great! I have always thought it would make a good xmas song. I can imagine a computer animated video would be good with lots of special effects! I wouldnt want to see Per and Marie animated (again), but a nice xmassy story to it would be cool.

Hi. Personally, I feel that Marie and Per have been more than generous to us in terms of both quality and quantity over the years. But it is true that some bands give their fans rare, bonus material around the Christmas period.
Given this break in the production of Roxette material I guess it would be nice for us fans, through a fanclub production or the uploading of an old demo or rare live track to TDR, to receive a special Christmas present.
Still, I must add that with FFF and TC released this year, I feel that 2004 has been pretty good to me :-) All the best, Rich

GT is not Roxette.
These types of releases are fine if you’re a fan (I’m not), but for me when I refer to “Roxette” I am talking about the unmistakable sound of Marie & Per together.
And under these circumstances is has been a long gap since the last album (I don’t include the greatest hits).
It feels like the massive gap from 95 to 99 is happening all over again.

It would nice to receive some present. But I guess, I got the best Christmas presents in summer (purely successful GYLLENE TIDER tour) and autumn (MARIE’s comeback).
Still waiting for new ROXETTE releases.

I dont really get excited about Per/GT offerings, as I’m not a huge fan. Of course i was always a massive Roxette fan, but the thing that drew me to them in the first place was Maries voice, and i’ve always considered myself to be more of a fan of her than Per. So really, I’m happy to get any new material from Marie, whether that is solo or with Roxette....though i must say nowadays that i listen to Maries solo material a lot more nowadays than i do the old roxette albums.

How about a free download via the internet for Christmas? Perhaps a long forgotten demo tucked up in a draw somewhere?
