How does Roxette manage to look so young?

I just recented downloaded the videos for ’A Thing About You’ and the live version of ’The Centre of the Heart’, and I couldn’t believe how young they looked. They looked like they did in the Joyride era. It’s hard to believe that they are in their 40s. If I had no knowledge of age, I would have guessed early 30s. They don’t seem to age. Is it plastic surgery or just good genes?

Maybe the Melodifestivalen (playback-)performance? I think they looked extremely well during most of the RS TV-performances. Should be a matter a of good styling and make-up + lighting. Under normal conditions (meeting-pics etc.) their aging seems quite average.

Funny, there was a live version of TCOTH on the German RTL (I think it was in their Big Brother show), where both Marie and Per looked extremely good and fresh. A few days later, on another German channel (dunno which one, their logo is a white 1), another performance was broadcast, that time it was MATAH. They both wore the same clothes as in the TCOTH-performace, however, they looked a lot ’worse’ (if it’s possible to use this word), way more tired and, well, older. I’ll try to find those videos and upload them.

Their styling, especially Maries, was my favorite during Room Service anyways. She is just such a stunner!
