CellPhones and MP3 Players...

12 replies

I was thinking today that one thing that I always carry with me is my mobile phone (even though I hate being on the phone too long...) but another thing I can’t do without is my MP3 Player... so I was thinking to buy a new phone with a built-in MP3 player and memory card to store the songs.

Anybody tried this before? Any suggestions?

my phone takes a Multimedia card to store MP3s and image files on... but i havent actually used it :P its a Nokia 6230 :)

I have just check it thanks. It has FM Radio as well but unfortunately I doesn’t say how long the battery lasts when playing music...

not very long, a friend has just got one although a very nice concept the next thing they need to invent is a longer life battery for stuff like that

i would kill for an iPod though ;)

@vix do you remember what brand it was? So that I can avoid it for low battery performance!

its a nokia sorry i cant remember which ( will ask tomorrow), only eats battery when using the radio though

Roxlad: It’s a nice thought... but I’d keep them separate. Mostly because of battery chewing. That, and here in the US, there’s been a rash of bad batteries being produced and they’ve exploded on people.

@LS om my, that’s terrible.

We are the Borg.....

Roxlad: Yeah... and they’re “brand new” batteries that were recently purchased, or done on a full charge....

I prefer seperate.... got mine MP3 player couple of weeks ago, I love it! :) got myself a nice new phone for Christmas which I bought last week! :) I keep breaking phones!

screw ipods crerative zen and another company now have players with 12 hr batter lives so apple blah just cause they get to rub nuts with bono lol
