It Was “I Want You” by Savage Garden and “The Centre Of The Heart” by Roxette mixed together by a fan; I remember it was done shortly after TCOTH came out.

Did Per really say that? Cos I’ve heard him talk about SG in interviews and he always said nice things. And I can’t believe Per would call someone gay...do you have proof he said it?
harriej said on November 25, 2004 22:03:
@lawyer: You got that from the “Do You Want Fries With That”-page.
Everything that is written there is a big joke, so don’t take it serious.
Strange that you think it is for real , since it is quite obvious that is meant as a joke.

Per is usualy always nice about other artists unless of course they’ve slagged him off first and then he diplomaticaly tells em what he thinks ;)
eg: I got an interview in a UK mag where the Wannadie’s were asked about Roxette and the lead singer guy was supposed to have said something along the lines of ’god i hate those bastards’
Pers comment before he knew about it: ’the Wannadie’s are cool, I really like them’
Pers comment after: ’the thing with the Wannadie’s is that they’re not very far away from what we do only we have better songs and sell millions more records’
Ouch! ;)
Has to be one of my favourite Per comments of all time ;)

Ah harriej you are right, of course I just realised that line did come from the Fries site! Dimberg’s Diary haha! But was Lawyer being serious when he thought Per really made that comment???? Oh my god if anyone took the Fries site seriously they would have big problems....asking record stores if they have “Do You Want Fries With That?” by Roxette LOLOL!
Sparvogamarie said on November 26, 2004 21:55:
Haha, even the part where Dimberg poisons Per and sets a fan on fire?
Vixzter said on November 26, 2004 21:58:
i thought that was serious too! i mean i cud believe that about her! ;-)

well, I don´t like the idea of Roxette doing duets with other bands. Anyway, I like “I want you” from Savage Garde. It sounds like TCOTH...
Rox_Nox2003 said on December 1, 2004 04:21:
Well that thing of Per hating Darren Hayes is non sence Per is clever enough to understand who is or isn’t a true talented artist and Savage Garden are from being on the same level as Britney Spears ... what she an artist? No sorry ...of course not! Duets with Roxette? It wouldn’t be bad but still it would sound strange 2 voices duetting with someone else ...strange ...duets work a lot better among solo singers.
Now as for the “I Want The COTH” mix made a fan! I wanted to download it but I was anable to..can anyone tell a way to get please? Thanx
Sparvogamarie said on December 2, 2004 13:51:
Roxnox...um, yeah the thing about Per hating Savage Garden was nonsense....IT WAS A JOKE!!!! He never said Darren was gay and Dimberg never set a fan on fire (that I know of), and Per never stood outside McDonalds with a sign that said “I’M FAMOUS!”
Or did he...Vix do you have any of those incriminating pix lying around, like the one of Per in your hockey team, or in the princess dress? ;)
Rox_Nox2003 said on December 3, 2004 01:57:
In fact Daniel in SG was openly gay altough he was so discrete u could never tell... which give us a slapp in the face for missjuging someone for being gay..he is probably a bigger man than any other man outthere... but i also had the impression than Darren was also but once again ... a man can also be extremely sensitive and emotional as Darren is and express that musicallywise and with amazing talent. ... and that does not make him a gay. When will we ever learn?
Rox_Nox2003 said on December 3, 2004 19:16:
Yeah he said that he was very naturally ... but fortunantely SG never been bashed for that ... Daniel didn’t like all the fuzz of touring and traveling the world ... so for that reason both decided to quit SG ..at least they ended with a brillant album “Affirmation”.
Sparvogamarie said on December 3, 2004 21:12:
Yeah Darren is solo now, he had a hit in Australia called Popular, don’t know if it was released anywhere else.
Starrox said on December 3, 2004 21:39:
It was released at least in some European countries, but with the exception of GB, it was more a flop than a hit...
@lawyer: Yes, they split up in december 2000, but didn’t make it public until way later! Darren released his first solo album in 2002, the second one’s out right now!
@Rox_Nox2003: Seriously, where did you get that crap from? Vengarox? Do you want fries with that? But no matter where you read it or if you’re making it up: it’s not true! (Oh, and BTW: Daniel got engaged on his birthday in july - to his girlfriend...)
havoncruise said on December 10, 2004 12:06:
Daniel is not gay. He is engage to be married - to a woman.
Rox_Nox2003 said on December 20, 2004 02:30:
Hey hey hold down ur horses Starrox! Bleib ruhig!
I have always been told that Daniel was gay Now if that was or not true it never had been discussed so if he has got a girlfriend ok fine! Sorry if this offended u all I just said that according to the info i had ...from VH1 by the way!
Kiwein1 said on November 24, 2004 22:53:
No, they didn’t! TCOTH is a Roxette song only.
