Well, I’m still slowly moving it over and what not. I have the pics still saved on my hard drive, what I want to know is this:
Who wants to put up newer / better pictures?

Yes, it is still with Tripod, however, I don’t have pop-ups or banner ads because I pay for the bandwidth (Like $9). Only draw back is... when I first go to the site, I get hammered with pop-ups and Spyware.

I’m payin for the second one, so I figured I’d move everything there (more bandwidth for viewing), and I have to go through and edit all the codes for the pictures. PLUS, I have new people to put up there: You and Rich. Vix and Denny want me to change their pix (and some others do too), so it’s just a case of moving chit around until I have all the links pointing the way I need them to be.
I’m just givin Kaz a hard time is all :-)

So, current ages if you want them / if you’ve moved from one town to another / one COUNTRY to another / etc. Speak up. I’m working on it this weekend and will hopefully have a rough look for everyone Monday nite.

Depends on the person. In this case, my friend lives in a rent-controlled senior apartment building. Gotta be over 55 to live there. One tree is for her place. I’m not sure where the others are going yet. *yawns and grumbles* It snowed yesterday / last night. That’s all I know, and I’m not thrilled to be out in it.

Due to something unforseen, it might be a bit longer before it gets posted. When I agreed to help move Christmas trees, I found out that it is for the Festival of Trees that is held every year. The money goes to Primary Children’s Medical Centre (PCMC) which is our local Children’s hospital - outside of Shriner’s. Well, everyone else chickened out and it wound up bein only 4 of us to do the 3 trees.
The trees are fake trees and had to be fluffed, hammered onto the stands and then everything “wired” on. Because after the trees are sold, and the end of the Festival, they are bagged up and loaded onto a rental truck and delivered. That’s why everything’s wired. Tomorrow morning, I have to get up and get the trees transported over to the Exhibition Hall.

They’re fake trees for a good cause (the money from the auctioned off trees goes to kids!) Hopefully it’ll only take me about an hour this morning and then I’ll come back home and get started on movin the codes.

I seemed to have either done one of two things:
Caught a virus
Or fragged another hard drive. I’m gonna take my tower up to my step-dad’s tomorrow and we’re gonna clean up one of the 2 drives I have, so I have a clean, empty drive for a fresh install of Windows. I will have everything backed up off of one of them... INCLUDING everyone’s pictures. It’s just gonna take me longer to get it up and going. I’m not thrilled. However, I originally thought I would have to buy a new HD. If this works like I think, it’s gonna save me a couple hundred dollars.
Lawyer: Pics will be put up once I get my computer wandering towards the right direction. I’m not thrilled how this turned out, but it does give me a chance to get Norton BACK onto the computer where it belongs.

Just to let everyone know:
I’m back up and running. I know no one missed me... probably glad I was gone.
What caused my computer to have issues (in this case THE WHOLE MAGAZINE STAND)....
The IDE cable kept unplugging itself. However, we got everything cleaned up too, so... it works :o)
I’m working on getting my other programs and stuff reinstalled, so I’ll get back to you soon.

YES I HAVE BEEN BUSY!!!! I may not celebrate a traditional Christmas like everyone else, but that doesn’t mean that work has not been busy.
For those that seem to have forgotten:
I drive bus for a public transit company. The holiday season... well, ski season really, sees an increase in passengers. Not to mention traffic on the roads increasing. Snow fall brings slick roads and an increase in delay times / accidents / and general Stuck My Ass Because The Road Was Slick. Nerves are shot, tempers flare, and bus drivers wind up getting the short end of the stick, just because someone’s had a bad day.
I’ve been yelled at for so many things the last 3 weeks (NONE of which have been MY fault or responsibility), it’s not even FUNNY any more.
TAKE A DEEP BREATH EVERYONE AND RELAX. Lemme try to survive “First Night” and a trip 40 miles north to gather stuff from my dad and we’ll see what happens. I have a 3 day weekend this weekend.
