Having been a Duranie since the early 80’s I was disappointed with the tour that they did in April. They sang some of the new songs from this album and i was not impressed at all. This is the 1st time that I will not be buying a duran album.

lol i havent bought a durna duran album since electric barbarella. The single is oddly enough kinda roxetteish with the big chorus, its upbeat kinda 80’s, if the whole album was liek this i’d be surprised. Actually if you’ve ever caugth the usa version of queer eye for the straight guy the song is on the soundtrack to the show.

Like a lot of Duran albums, Astronaut has 4 good songs (the singles), and the rest of it is rubbish. The album closer is decent enough though. But, you have to ask yourself - what was the point of them reforming just to make an album with 5 good songs? THE MONEY!!!
If you’ve heard the single... there’ll be no surprises waiting for you in Astronaut.
