Hi
Many thanks for the enquiry. I can’t give you a definite answer for the
moment though I’m afraid. We are considering stocking this one, but at the
moment I can’t confirm if our suppliers will be able to deliver to us.
Maybe you could check back around the time of its release, or drop me a
line then to check if you have not found it already? Sorry to be vague
about that but thanks for supporting CD-WOW.

Jud (moderator) said on October 11, 2004 15:14:
yay!!! I wrote to the german + english sites/contacts and both replied the same as above, nick ;)
but I guess they got curious with so many ppl asking for the cd *nanana*
ncurran said on October 11, 2004 17:16:
yeah that would be great if we could get her on the chart. I seem to remember the GT album doing pretty well there. Though they dont have the album listed with their main new releases, you have to search for it.
ally77 said on October 11, 2004 19:39:
Whoohooo £7.49 each with links off... bargain of the year!!! :)
Rich-UK said on October 11, 2004 21:37:
How do you get money off with CD-WOW? I’ve ordered several CDs from there recently but have no idea how to come across vouchers etc. Thanks in advance! Rich
rox4ever said on October 11, 2004 22:40:
I know that symbol means pounds Tevensso, I mean, why just 7.49 and not 8.99 for the CD?
Denstandigaresan said on October 11, 2004 22:46:
Cause there are vouchers to be had. :)
If you don’t ask, you don’t get. ;)
Starrox said on October 11, 2004 23:21:
For voucher and discount links (you aren’t to allowed use both for one order, though!):
http://www.kjaerland.dk/DVD/cdwowDiscount.asp
http://www.dvd.nl/forum/viewtopic.php?t=38731
Compare prices on different CD Wow!-servers:
http://www.kjaerland.dk/dvd/cdwowBestPrice.asp?tc=EUR -> prices in €
http://www.kjaerland.dk/dvd/cdwowBestPrice.asp?tc=USD -> prices in $
http://www.kjaerland.dk/dvd/cdwowBestPrice.asp?tc=GBP -> prices in £
*edit* You can use other currencies, too, just go to http://www.kjaerland.dk/DVD/index.asp and choose the one you want ;-)
ally77 said on October 12, 2004 07:48:
Then another hint to gain a £1 vouchers is to look around, right now there is survey link on the CDWOW site, if you fill it out, provide your email address they will email you a £1 voucher code...
Survey...

Careful with that forum link ally... it’s just that their forum link.. not this one!
Best bet is to e-mail it people, or link directly to site!
Denstandigaresan said on October 12, 2004 10:06:
It’s an affiliate link, they’ll see people clicked from tdr and not the site it was set up for. ;)
OR... if people must use it... copy link and paste into new browser at least. :)
ally77 said on October 12, 2004 10:08:
I use a discount link and discount vouchers at the same time, always work no problems for me! :)
Starrox said on October 12, 2004 14:01:
@ally: I guess you were lucky then, they might as well have cancelled your orders!

If you abuse it... you will loose it.
I use one maybe every 3 months.

mmm i must be in a crazy mood, but i just ordered another copy to be sent directly to steve wright at radio 2...i wonder if he’ll listen to it?
ally77 said on October 17, 2004 08:31:
Well If I get caught I get caught, not as if I am using it every day!
Like Manda says lots do it I am pretty sure that they do not go checking every order than goes through. I don’t order so often from them anyhow I still find £8.99 cheap for a CD, and am more than happy to pay the full price... the £1 links are common now coming up the xmas, and come in handy for buying pressies...
ally77 said on October 17, 2004 08:34:
@ Neil... nice one way to go!!! :) I am sure he will... it might be the way to get the message across to him! :)
ncurran said on October 17, 2004 08:43:
well my thinking is that the only way emi would bother to release is if it got some airplay on the radio....its a longshot but worth a go.
Jud (moderator) said on October 17, 2004 10:17:
maybe these rules have to do with the “unfair” competence cd-wow was accused of some time ago (I think it was all the UK-small-stores feeling they could not compete with such prices etc?)
ally77 said on October 17, 2004 11:38:
@ Judith is true... although the price of albums in the UK shops have dropped at lot... esp in supermarkets where you can pick up the related releases for around £9.97.... I really don’t know how the likes of HMV still stay in business at the prices they charge for stuff...
ncurran said on October 17, 2004 14:23:
yeah a UK court ruled that CD-wow could only send CDs to Uk addresses that had been sourced within the EU. Previously they got a lot of their stocks from Asia. For orders that come from outwith the UK they still fulfil a lot of their orders from outwith the EU. They did put up prices for UK addresses for a very short time, but then they said they found a cheaper supplier within the EU. They probably found some kind of loophole in the law though.
Jud (moderator) said on October 21, 2004 14:12:
yes yes yes!!!!
Marie is at number 4 and the album isn’t out YET!!!!! *yay*
Rich-UK said on October 21, 2004 15:01:
Ahead of Robbie Williams’ Greatest Hits. That’s CD..... WOW! ;-) Is the .net version a general Europe site? Cheers, Rich
Starrox said on October 21, 2004 15:39:
No, not really! It’s the German and the US version - who knows how they came up with that combination!
ncurran said on October 21, 2004 16:05:
that is really fantastic....i wonder how many CDs they actually sell on CD wow. They arent even really counted to any official chart or anything, but it would be interesting to know how much they sell
Jud (moderator) said on October 21, 2004 16:29:
no of course it’s not an official website but I suppose they sell rather a lot.. and it’s always good to be in the site’s front page anyway, or? ;) Guess it will catch one or another eye :D
ally77 said on October 21, 2004 18:19:
Wow number 4! that is really something!! :) and of course showing that might sell some more! :)
Now I wonder if CDWOW will stock the GT DVD and Live CD! :)
Rich-UK said on October 21, 2004 22:23:
@ ally77 - I guess it depends on how many units of FFF they shifted - I reckon they will... cya, Rich
Jud (moderator) said on October 6, 2004 09:02:
:S i am pretty sure they will sell it, cd-wow has a shop in Swedish AND they even sell Tomas Ledin, Lisa Ekdahl etc.. in *swedish*...
