7Twenty7: A story behind it?

7Twenty7 seems a sad, depressed, end-of-the-line type of song... Is there a story behind it? Does someone here know of it? I’m thinking of a guy who’s girl expired in a Boeing 727 crash.
Thanks in advance.

I don’t think there’s a story like that behind it....just read the lyrics, they’re very clear.
It’s about a girlfriend who left him and the narrator regrets it that she’s gone. Now she’s gone (left) he realises what she meant to him.

BTW, maybe it’s better to ask this in the topic “Roxette dictionary”? > http://www2.dailyroxette.com/smalltalk/thread.php/11014

Didn’t Per say once in an interview that 7Twenty7 is the name of a plane?

Yes, 7twenty7 is a plane. It’s a Boeing, smaller (if I’m right) than the 747 or the 767.

isnt the song a make believe story about a girfriend who leaves and dies in a plane crash?

Goes through you like a rapier.
I’ve stopped listening to it. At least for some time.
Incidentally, I smell a double-meaning in the phrase “oh I’ll be divin’ my head in the pure-white snow”
