We need more dates!

Hi everybody!
It’s more than a week ago that we were told Marie would release a new album, but still don’t have the release date for the other countries in which it will be released (except for Sweden, of course). Is it normal o maybe I’m a little impatient?
I wouldn’t like to buy the album on the internet, mainly because this doesn’t help Marie’s sales in each of the countries, but if the release lasts too much, then...Maybe I’ll order it to the fanshop.
Any at Capitol that could give us a hint?

Well EMI Sweden have no release date for the UK, but hell if I am waiting I will pre order from CDON... but no doubt I would still my if it was released in the UK, as someone one else said for the sake of walking into HMV and seeing it on the shelf! :)

why should we email emi? i think that it’s their job to make the dates official. that’s what they got payed for.

well, though this is being called an international release, i think it is more likely that it will only be released in a few terrorities where roxette have the biggest fanbase. Although i would love it to be released in every country, i think the local companies might be reluctant, since marie is going to do virtually zero promotion for the album, so it is going to have to have radio support...and to be honest although i love the single, i think it has a limited chance of success of getting radio airplay.

@Frisso: EMI is the company who sets and knows the release dates, apart from the fact that the people who work there get payed for not doing their job very well (at least when it comes to Roxette and related). They will let TDR, the OIRF etc. know when the int. release dates are as soon as those dates are set. And I’m sure TDR will let us know when they know.
Today Marie and Marie D. had a meeting for what to do before the release of the cd. So, they might have talked about the international release as well since Marie is not going to do any international promotion. For now it seems that the only way to promote the album internationally is when the documentary is in English (or does at least have English subtitles) and is being send out to other countries. And then there’s still the question if the documentary will be broadcast. And furthermore, the last decade EMI has never been strong in promoting Roxette or solo projects, at least not in other countries than Sweden (and those people still get payed for NOT doing their jobs as they should do).
I think we’ll need to have some more patience. We’ve been patient the last 2 years, so why can’t we wait a few more days?

When you get so much information, you somehow can’t be patient...

i’m impaitent enough to consider going to sweden to get the bloody album ;) rather than wait for a non exsistant UK release

We knew you’re mental ;-) (just kidding!)
Anyway, then it would be smart to buy lots of the cd’s and sell them throughout the UK. You’d probably make some money with it and you’ll earn your ticket back :-)

It’s better if you’d send EMI Sweden an e-mail.
