i hope new world is on marie’s new album ’cause it’s one of her best songs, and the lyrics fits perfectly with the theme of this album

do we actually know that both these songs were written by Marie. I know she recorded the demos, but has it been confirmed that she wrote the lyrics aswell? If not it could be another one of these songs where per wrote the lyrics and passed them on to her to write the music....in which case they wouldnt be included on the album. Personally, although I like these songs, I would like to see a full album of new material that I havent heard before. I doubt she would include these songs anyway as i think the album is more a journey she has made since her illness and they probably wouldnt fit in

Well, the lyrics of ’always the last to know’ are written by Per. Marie made the music to it, but that didn’t fit Roxette. So Marie kept the music and wrote new Swedish lyrics, that’s how ’Det som var nu’ was made.
And the lyrics to ’Beautiful things’ were also written by Per. He was stuck, gave them to Marie and she came up with this demo :-)
As far as I know she wrote the other lyrics herself.
