Hej alla!
about the cover of 2:nd chance: i emailed it to my best friend, who does not like roxette at all. she instantly replied saying that she found the drawing extremely powerful/disturbing and very touching. if Marie did it herself... wow... i didn’t know she could draw so well
about the publicity pix... i looked at them so many times only to realise now that the wood next to her is burnt/destroyed... do i see this right?!? if it is so, it gives the pictures another depth... moving as well...
i only wish she is really fine (i mean who really knows!?!?) and send her all my love and light...
what do you think about the cover/pictures?

i love how peoe liek to delve into what they think the psychological meaning of anything is by an artists and it usually turns out to be totally the opposite :)

@cowboy yeah, but that is the essence of art, that it makes people think and feel. i mean, i also dont think it’s appropriate to say Marie felt so and so and that’s how she’s coping with so and so... but still, i can interprete those pictures or especially the cover painting or say what it means to me... i think to some respect its not the point what the artist thinks but what the audience experience...

I think Marie drew the pic herself because I’ve seen her self portraits before and she always draws herself with this unusual abstract face.
