nowadays a lot of artists don’t want their song to be played long time before the maxi-cd release because of the internet, mp3 you know... i guess we’ll have to wait about 8 or 10 days ...

According to Emi Finland Second Chance (however, they call it Second ChanGe) will go to radio on Sep 27.

joyrider i know what you mean about mp3s and stuff,but most singles go to radio about a month or even longer before release, at least they do in the UK....you need to let the record buyers hear it a few times before the release date so that they are motivated to buy it....but then if it starts getting played on monday i suppose thats 9 days before release...not bad...

well emi is very conscious about piracy , so this will only drive up her sales with an immediate release and radio push, i wish they would do this with the next roxette album, heck most of us had heard the entire roomservice album nearly a month before its release which really killed the experience

Uh, no, it was leaked on the internet only a few days before the first showcase in Cologne on 26.3.2001 - so it was about 10 days earlier, that’s hardly nearly a month!
