marie album rushed out?

Don’t get me wrong, i think it’s GREAT news that Marie’s coming out with an English album, i will get it preorderd when it comes out, but im a bit concerned about the release date, doesn’t it sound kind of rushed? Like they just announced the album release and it’s due in Oct? Will there be time for promotions at all? Hope it’s not gonna be one of those great albums released but nobody knows about it kind of thing ...
Can’t wait to hear Marie!

And she doesn’t need promo, does she? Austrian radio has already published news about it, surely talked live about it...

Per has been mentioning it in interviews for a good while now, so anyone that read those will know a Marie album is on the cards anyways.

Well, there wasn’t much time between the press release and the releases of Mazarin and HKAK last year, either! Somehow I get the feeling someone at EMI Sweden is tremendously enjoying shocking us like that... ;-)
*edit* And unlike Mazarin, we actually knew this album would be coming sometime!

I don’t think Marie will do international promo performances, I think this will be to much pressure for her.
I hope TV and Radio stations will do lots of commercials and promo to support her album. Hope it will be a big hit, she really deserves it.

Yeah, Agnetha didn’t made promotion, but there was lot’s of Agnetha-commercials on tv and on the radio. Let’s hope there is as much Marie commercials too.

i doubt marie has any ambitions for world domination...she would be happy with moderate chart success in a few countries, as i think this was something she wanted to record personally...partly with all that has happened, and it also seems she had the ambition of recording an album in english.
however, i suppose it all depends on how the album is received...if it does better than expected in some countries she may feel the motivation to do the odd promotional visit. I really hope the record does well, but at the same time i’m just happy that we can get some new music from marie and thats the most important thing. Its also fantastic that she feels well enough to actually go ahead with the release...it must be a good sign that her health is improving a lot

I don’t think she will promote the album and if she does, it’s just a little bit of promotion. This release is already a huge step for her and it will cost a lot of energy. It’s not just the album but also the pictures that have been taken and the media that will jump into her life again. (I really hope that they will respect her privacy and don’t want to take more than that Marie gives.)
And the news that Marie has released a new album is also a bit of promotion. It has already reached Austria (the radio station Judith was talking about, that is) and many other countries will follow soon. And above that, maybe we can help as well by sending e-mails to radio stations? :-)

i emailed emi UK to find out if they had a release date....probably wont hear back from them. I there is a good chance radio 2 would play her material. They always supported the roxette ballads, they seemed to like the slower stuff...but emi needs to send them the promos first.

I don’t think she releases this album to be the queen of the charts, as she says, she felt she wanted to explain her feelings - that’s her way of letting us know how she has felt all these months, the answer to our questions I guess. lets say for the sake of it that it is rushed, pewrhaps its because they wanted to carry the vibe of the gt reunion, and grab those very important pre x mas sales. It can only bode well for marie at this point. As for a rush recording, if anyone paid any attention to the dates of the marie demo that were on the net she’s been recording in english for some time on her own, so I gather this is gonna be like a well stepped tea, great heartfelt material, not rush commerical terds :)
i really dont think shes gonna do too much promotion because of how retarded the media is i mean how many time would u wanna be interrogated about a life threatening disease u’ve battled?

She is physically different for obvous reasons but I still like her the same way nothing changed on that ...
She fought she won and she expressed that all this amazing showcase of new songs in English ...

PS - Rushed Out? Umm don’t think so.... Kept very well secret for a significant time in order to develop and make it a solid music unit as any album should be ??? Yeah that I believe
