Wedding Song!

Don’t know whether this is practice outside of England, but at weddings here, we have something called a ’First Dance’. This is the first song of the evening’s celebrations - where the newly married couple dance on their own to a song specially and secretly chosen by them. Anyway, I was at a wedding last weekend and the First Dance was called by the DJ. The couple stepped onto the dancefloor......to the opening chords of Almost Unreal!! They even did an choreographed dance to the song! Was a nice moment....

Cool. And they picked the right song too. A song called “It Must Have been Love” wouldent fit a wedding :)

No, absolutely not. But they shoud keep in mind that it exists to have a good song when they celebrate their divorce *gg*

“Making Love To You” or “See Me” would be beautiful first dances on a wedding I think.

In my wedding the first song that my husband and I danced was “I was so lucky”, it was very sweet moment, and most of my guests asked me was that song.

Yes, most wedding receptions are the same here in Australia too, but that’s to be expected, as our cultures are pretty much the same. I wish I could have done that, but my husband doesn’t like Roxette! :( :(
